Join PPSDC, Thursday January 29, 2026 in Balboa Park for a photowalk. Stroll and explore Balboa Park while you learn photography in low light conditions.
Meet the group at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion by 6pm. The group will depart from there to other parts of Balboa Park.
Since this photowalk is after 6pm, it is recommended that you bring your tripod for photo taking. Since we will be moving from place to place, make sure you have comfortable shoes and be able to carry your cameras and any lighting equipment easily in bag or backpack.
Parking Information
As of January 5, parking in Balboa Park is no longer free and you will have to pay a parking fee. The fee depends if you are a resident of the City of San Diego or a non-resident of the city of San Diego. The parking lot behind the organ pavilion is considered a Level 1 parking lot. The fee for that parking lot is $5 ( up to 4 hours) for City of San Diego Residents and $10 (up to 4 hours) for non residents. If you are a City of San Diego Resident that wishes to use your parking discount, you will have register at least 2 days in advance via San Diego's Parking portal.
