Description: Morning Photo Walk with opportunities for wildlife, seascape, and people photos.
Event Timing: Thursday, 7/31, 7a to 9a @ La Jolla Cove Directions – Torrey Pines Road (South Towards La Jolla); Right on Prospect Place; Stay Right onto Coast Blvd; Park at any open spot on downhill before La Jolla Cove (7a there should be plenty of spots)
Meet – At Lifeguard La Jolla Cove (can look up in Google Maps) Bring:
CameraLong Zoom (100-400 is ideal; but bring your zoom with the longest focal length)
Long Prime (400, 500, or 600 if you have it)Normal Zoom (24-70, 24-105, 24-120; if you want to do seascape)
Tripod (if you want support for big lens; or want to do seascape)
Neutral Density and Circular Polarizing filters (if you want to do some seascape shooting)Water and Snack if you like

Special Instructions – On that day we will have a 1.9’ low tide at 7:50 a.m. Please do look at the surf and weather report the night before to help plan your clothing and gear for the event. The intersection of surf and coastline can be dynamic at times, you are responsible the safety of yourself and your gear. I use the following settings for wildlife, action, and photojournalism photography.
