PPA Workshop: Image Comp Boot Camp

Are you wanting to enter image competitions but don't know how to get started? Join us to uncover the significance of image competitions and awards. We will give you the knowledge and motivation to begin entering and excel in image competition.

In this course, you'll learn:

• The ins and outs of selecting and preparing your work for image competitions 
• The 12 elements (in depth) that make images stand out in competitions and why they are important
• Learn why a digital presentation mat is important and how to create one
• Why did my photo win an award at the fair but it didn’t do well at my local PPA competition
• Learn about the scoring system and what a score of 79 really means
• Learn about the different degrees that PPA offers and what you need to earn them
• We will also touch on becoming a Certified Professional Photographer and entering PPA’s Merit In Review (MIR) and International Photographic Competition (IPC)
