It's Spring in San Diego - Come spend the morning hiking  around Lake Poway,  photographing all the beautiful flowers.

In this Photowalk, you'll meet at 7:30am, at Lake Poway, just South of the store where PPSDC member, Gunner Kruse, will open your journey with a conversation on Focus Stacking and setting up your camera for macro photography. 

From 8am to 11am, you'll be walking around the lake looking at all the beauty that is blooming.  On your walk, you'll also have opportunity to photograph the local birds and animals that call this Lake home. Walking around the Lake is considered a moderate walk with 10% grades at some places, so bring your hiking shoes. 

Noon to 1pm will be lunch at Gunner's home for those interested in eating together and continuing with macro photography. Gunner will serve Smoked Trout with Potato Salad or Shrimp Pasta Salad. If a Vegan option is needed, please contact Gunner directly; his number is below. Cost is a $2.00 cash donation to Gunner.

1pm to 5pm will be photographing in Gunner's garden; he says a lot of flowers will be in bloom. For those interested, he will demonstrate how he manages focus stacking using Helicon ND software. 

This Photowalk is set-up for everyone who would like to participate in the whole day, or just come when time allows. 

Time: 7:30am to 5:00pm (or pick which half of the day you'd like to be in)

Who: Our leader will be Gunner Kruse who will show his favorite spots, help you set up your camera, (if you need it) and discuss focus stacking. He'll even show you his garden and share his editing techniques.
